Ugh, I didn’t like the character of Thor before I watched the movie (in the comic he’s kind of a stoic dick!), and I’m not usually crazy about specific actors, but Hemsworth really seemed to imbue that character with a kind of charm I was really drawn to. He’s definitely not your average alpha male action star hero. I was very impressed by his performance.
To be fair, Thor is not a stoic dick in ALL the versions of him. In Ultimate Thor he is more like the Thor in the movies. (I am currently reading Ultimate Thor) pleas keep in mind, there are a shit load of Thor comics out there!! some of them hes a dick, some of them hes pretty cool!
